Ministries
Jesus told us, His disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation.
Hilltop Baptist Church members are involved in a variety of ministries.
Sunday School for all ages
Awana
Children are a priority at Hilltop. Our Awana program includes: Puggles (2 year olds), Cubbies (3&4 year olds), Sparks (K-2nd), and T&T (3rd-5th). Children in our Awana program are taught practical Bible lessons and Bible memorization in a fun and caring environment.
TEENS
G1 meets on Sunday @ 9:45 am and Wednesday @ 6:30 pm. Our desire is to provide a fun and Godly atmosphere where young people feel welcomed, accepted and listened to. Our goal is to prepare them for effective ministry in the
local church, the community, school and their home. We strive to help each young person grow personally and spiritually through the teaching of God’s Word, prayer time, songs and activities.
Nursery
Nursery is provided during all services.
Adopt A College Student
At Hilltop, we desire to be an encouragement to the college students who attend our church. Each student is “adopted” by a family from our church. This family will pray for and encourage their student during their college career.
C.E.F Good News Club Ministry
At Hilltop we reach out to our local community by leading Good News Club at Mabscott Elementary.
Ladies Sunday School and Fellowship
Ladies at Hilltop enjoy fellowship opportunities through our Friday Bible Studies, Sunday School Class, and monthly Ladies meetings.
Men’s Sunday School and Fellowship
Men at Hilltop enjoy fellowship opportunities through our Sunday School Class and Monthly Prayer Breakfasts.
World Wide Missions
Hilltop Baptist Church is thrilled to be part of the spreading of God’s kingdom around the world.
We are active in sending missionaries around the world.
Currently Hilltop Baptist is honored to be the sending church of two missionary families:
Ron & Nancy Johnson – Brazil
Vlad & Julia Kozoubovkii – Restricted Country
Hilltop Baptist Church supports a total of 21 Missionaries, both locally and around the world.
We support these missionaries with our money and with our prayers.
Missionary prayer letters are often read weekly in our services.
We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.
Music
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.
Prayer Partners
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, one of our faithful men is praying for the ministry of the Word as it is preached.
Each Wednesday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and Bible study.
